02.07.09 Max Attends Book Signing with Illustrator Rob Moffitt

We had a great time today at Lifeway Christian Store (7131 Northpoint Parkway, Alpharetta, Ga, 770.442.1884). Max was there to greet people and took a few photos. Rob Moffitt, illustrator of The Max and Liz books was there to sign books with Jenny and they talked about how this all got started. Check out the video:

1.21.09 Fellowship Christian Academy

Jenny got to spend some fun time with the lower school students at Fellowship Christian Academy in Roswell, GA. Thanks for having me and I look forward to returning soon!

12.15.08 Landmark Christian School

Jenny spent the day with students from both campuses of Landmark in metro Atlanta. We all had a great time learning about creative writing. See the interview below with an up and coming new author:

12.02.08 Accelerated Reader Program

The Ark, the Reed and the Fire Cloud has been approved for the Accelerated Reader program at several schools offering 21 points of credit. Approval is pending for nationwide acceptance; however, if you would like to receive certification for your school, please contact Jenny Cote at jennyl@maxandliz.com for details.

11.17.08 Mississippi Book Tour

Jenny had a fabulous week in Jackson, Mississippi! She visited Jackson Academy, First Presbyterian Day School, Madison Station Elementary, Madison Middle School, McWillie Elementary, Powell Middle School and Lemuria Bookstore. We sold 800 books in Jackson, so thank you all for your southern hospitality! Here's a few pictures and a video of Kaitlyn and Jenny at Lemuria:

10.29.08 Georgia Book Tour: Ellijay

Jenny continues to visit around Georgia, and stopped by Ellijay in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. She gave two creative writing workshops and signed books for students at North Georgia Christian Academy. Then she headed to Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cherry Log, GA where the best pastor in the world leads the church (how's that, Dad? :) She enjoyed dinner, signing books and talking with the wonderful people there.

10.19.08 Virginia Book Tour

What an incredible week! Jenny visited 7 schools and gave creative writing workshops for about 1,000 students. She also talked and signed books at 2 churches, and had an awesome signing at Barnes & Noble, Williamsburg. She got to squeeze in some research and fun times with friends in Norfolk, Richmond and Williamsburg. Jenny loved going back to her Old Dominion. Thanks so much everyone - can't wait to see you again in April! Check out the video!

10.6.08 Georgia Book Tour: Columbus

Next it was off to Columbus for a TV appearance on "Rise N Shine" at 6:00 am, Calvary Christian School at 8:30 until lunch, a 1:30 pm radio interview on THE TRUTH FM, and a signing at The Sanctuary Bookstore from 5:00-7:00 pm. WOW! What a busy, great day! Thanks everybody and you students were amazing at CCS!

10.02.08- Book Tour Launch in Georgia!

Jenny officially launched her book tour at Mt Pisgah Christian School in Alpharetta, GA! She got to hang out with 300 lower school students, and talked about how she wrote The Ark, The Reed and The Fire Cloud. Max got to make his debut with a personal appearance!
